In 2011 comScore reported mobile devices accounted for 7% of all web traffic. Experts estimate mobile-traffic will increase by 4,000% by 2014 and eventually overtake desktop-traffic. To meet this growing demand it’s vital for organizations to have a mobile strategy. However, this introduces substantial challenges when creating an optimized web experience on each device. Thankfully recent web technology advances (HTML5, CSS3, media queries) allow new opportunities for web sites that fluidly adapt to any browser or device. This webinar introduces these technologies and demonstrates how Sitefinity CMS makes them accessible.

#Sitefinity thunder makes creating new widgets much simpler,...

#Sitefinity thunder makes creating new widgets much simpler, including everything you need to get started (by TelerikSitefinityCMS)

A Look at Sitefinity 5 | CMS Critic

A Look at Sitefinity 5 | CMS Critic:
An article detailing a walk through of a Sitefinity version 5 demo starter site.

Sitefinity 5 is the latest release from web content management vendor, Telerik. This new release introduces a number of new features and we’ve decided to do a deep dive and take a look at the system and how it functions.

On the first visit to the site, we were greeted with an attractive demo site for the fictitious Telerik International University. In order to enable our editing tools so that we can use the on page editing capabilities of Sitefinity, we need to first authenticate with the system, we can do this by appending our URL with /sitefinity to get to the dashboard login.

Once we log in and see the dashboard (shown below) we can visit the main website and begin making changes. Read More…

Until now, your Google Web History (your Google searches and sites visited) was cordoned off from Google’s other products. This protection was especially important because search data can reveal particularly sensitive information about you, including facts about your location, interests, age, sexual orientation, religion, health concerns, and more. If you want to keep Google from combining your Web History with the data they have gathered about you in their other products, such as YouTube or Google Plus, you may want to remove all items from your Web History and stop your Web History from being recorded in the future.

Here’s how you can do that…

Dilbert: The Search Engine Optimisation Industry

Dilbert: The Search Engine Optimisation Industry

History of Australian States

History of Australian States

what web developer’s do

what web developer’s do

Australian Summer 2011-2012

Australian Summer 2011-2012

“Siri, play some cool music”

“Siri, play some cool music”

A Swarm of Nano Quadrotors (by TheDmel)

A Swarm of Nano Quadrotors (by TheDmel)

Nature and technology combine to create a spectacular light show...

Nature and technology combine to create a spectacular light show over the Perth skyline on Australia Day 2012

PROTECT IP / SOPA Breaks The Internet (by Fight for the Future)

PROTECT IP / SOPA Breaks The Internet (by Fight for the Future)

The Sounds Of Australia -
